the undergraduate program of financial management major was established with the approval of the ministry of education in april 2013 on the fundamental of junior college, and the first enrollment was in september 2013.as of july 2021, there are 74 teaching classes in the undergraduate program and the total number of students is 3790, including 3039 graduates and 751 students in school.
over the years, the financial management major constantly improves the quality of talent training with such teaching concept: people-centered education first,moral education ahead,ability oriented and all-round development,and established the financial management professional construction steering committee to explore the financial management professional talent training mode in earnest.according to the actual situation of the school,a series of personnel training program has been formulated,which combined with the characteristics and specific conditions of the financial management major,in order to continuously improve the quality of personnel training.
ⅰ. basic information
the major of financial management is a four-year program for senior high school graduates .the students will be awarded a bachelor of management after graduation.
ⅱ.training objectives
the major of financial management mainly cultivates qualified citizens who are patriotic, and law-abiding,love the party, and have good morality,aiming to satisfy the production, management and service needs of enterprises in the guangdong-hong kong-macao greater bay area,especially in dongguan.this major cultivates high-quality applied talents who can engage in financial management for enterprises and government-sponsored institutions.they have humanistic spirit ,scientific literacy,the knowledge and ability of financial management, good faith, native feelings, innovation consciousness, team spirit as well as communication skills.
ⅲ.training standards and requirements
the major provides students with not only basic theories and knowledge related to management and economics,but also fundamental training of methods and technical ability in accounting and financial management,so that the students have the basic ability to analyze independently and solve financial problems.graduates should have the following knowledge, characters and abilities:
1.knowledge
(1)basic knowledge.students need to learn the theory and methods of advanced mathematics,statistics ,western economics,investment and other basic disciplines;
(2)professional knowledge.students need to systematically master the relevant theory and methods of financial management through the following courses :intermediate financial accounting, cost accounting, taxation laws, financial management, management accounting, financial statements analysis, auditing, advanced financial management and other related courses, also be expected to follow the theoretical frontier and development trends of this major;
(3)general knowledge.students need to complete the ideological and political theory education, chinese,physical education, mental health education, military theory, career development and other general courses.

(1)be able to independently undertake the work in accounting for the daily economic business of enterprises and identify the source document of relevant business, fill in bookkeeping vouchers, register account books,take closing reconciliation as well as prepare financial statements;
(2)be able to use accounting computerization software for enterprise accounting and financial statement analysis;
(3)be able to use common cost accounting methods for product cost accounting, cost control and management, have the management ability to control and reduce enterprise costs;
(4)have the ability to prepare enterprise business budget, cash budget and financial statement budget;
(5)be able to use basic financial control methods to effectively control the inventory, receivable, fixed assets, intangible assets, long-term investment and other assets of the enterprise;
(6)be able to use tax revenue software for enterprise tax application and payment, and deal with enterprise tax management,have the ability to prepare tax returns of main taxes such as value-added tax, consumption tax and corporate income tax;
(7)be able to use enterprise financial capability indicators and analysis methods to evaluate enterprise financial statements, and independently write the overall financial analysis report of the enterprise;
(8)have the ability of good computer operation and basic english listening, speaking, reading and writing ;
